Dr. Danuta A. Jankowska, M.D., is a compassionate, insightful, and a dedicated Board Certified Primary Care physician.

Dr. Jankowska is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, ​NYS Workers' Compensation Board Authorized provider and serves as an Executive Board Member & Co-Chair at Mount Sinai Health Partners, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University (NYU). Dr. Jankowska is an author of several medical publications and presentations. Dr. Jankowska has been recognized and awarded as a "Top American Physician" in 2017. She is one of the youngest pioneers to open up her own private practice on the Upper East Side in Manhattan right after finishing her medical residency.   

Dr. Jankowska is proudly affiliated, maintaining privileges in Internal Medicine as a staff faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell and Mount Sinai Hospital, two of New York’s most distinguished hospitals. Dr. Jankowska began her engagement in medicine and genetics at the early age of 16 at New York University School of Medicine and Medical Center in New York City. As a member of the American Medical Association, the oldest medical organization then for physicians in the nation, at the age of 18, Dr. Jankowska was featured in medical publications as an author on cardiac K-ATP channels across different patient populations and as a guest speaker on the topic. After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology at Fordham University and medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Jankowska completed her residency at New York Downtown Cornell Presbyterian, and Staten Island University Hospital.  Dr. Jankowska’s dedication to health and wellness extends to both patients and new generations of physicians. She attends national and global medical conferences and collegial forums in order to keep abreast of the latest technologies and treatment methods within Internal Medicine. Dr. Jankowska is a clinical principal research investigator of medical research studies. Dr. Jankowska also serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Education and Clinical Supervision in Internal Medicine with medical residents, student nurse practitioners in clinical training of various teaching institutions in New York City. Dr. Jankowska also served as a Co-Director of Research Project in Development, served on a Medical and Research Development Committee and was a Medical Advisory Board Member for a non-for-profit organization.

Dr. Jankowska continues to be a clinical principal research investigator of medical research studies. Dr. Jankowska provides patients with personalized management to wellness and their well being. Patients trust Dr. Jankowska’s expertise because she is consistently involved in clinical research thus allowing her to provide high quality of care, focusing on preventive medicine, which leads to positive and lasting health outcomes. Outside of her practice, Dr. Jankowska enjoys painting, playing piano, deep-sea fishing, and Tae Kwon Do.
